Pension Reform Success

Jerry was one of the only legislators to have pension reform legislation approved in 2011. His reform will help San Mateo County save over $10 million by requiring new hires to choose reduced retirement formulas. Hill is also spearheading efforts to cap excessive state worker pensions that can rise above the federal limits.
